Key points
- The left sidebar is your library. The main panel is where you read, edit, and share prompts.
- Templates, stats, profile settings, and import/export live in the account menu.
What this feature does
This part of PrompX covers account access and the basic workspace layout. It helps you understand where prompts live, how unfinished work is saved, and where to manage your account.
Why it is useful
A prompt workspace is only useful if it feels easy to re-enter. Knowing where prompts, drafts, and account tools are located saves time every time you come back.
How to use it
- Use Sign in if you already have an account, or Start free if you need to register.
- If PrompX asks you to verify your email, enter the code from your inbox to finish setup.
- If you forget your password later, use Forgot password on the sign-in screen to request a reset link.
- After signing in, use the left sidebar to browse prompts, collections, drafts, and recently used items.
- Open the account menu to reach Profile settings, Stats, Templates, and Import / Export.
- Press
?in the workspace whenever you want to review keyboard shortcuts.
Tips
- If you begin a new prompt and leave before publishing, PrompX can keep it as a draft so you can come back later.
- Recent prompts are helpful when you reuse the same small set of prompts throughout the week.
- If you manage multiple workflows, collections are usually easier to browse than one long flat list.
Common use cases
- Onboarding a new teammate who needs a quick orientation.
- Returning after a break and locating drafts or recently used prompts.
- Recovering account access without creating a duplicate workspace.
