Key points
- PrompX lets you save title, prompt text, category, tags, sample output, description, model, and NSFW status in one place.
- AI Fill Metadata and Suggest help improve structure before you publish.
What this feature does
Prompt creation is the core workflow in PrompX. It lets you store the prompt itself plus the extra details that make the prompt easy to find, understand, and reuse later.
Why it is useful
A good prompt is more than a block of text. Titles, tags, categories, sample outputs, and descriptions give your library structure, which makes the prompt useful long after you first wrote it.
How to use it
- Click New in the workspace.
- Enter a clear title and choose a category that matches the task.
- Write the prompt text. PrompX can auto-suggest a title from the first line if you leave the title blank.
- Add a sample output type and sample output so people know what a successful response should look like.
- Add tags for search and filtering.
- Open Advanced if you want to save a description, record the model you used, or mark the prompt as NSFW.
- Choose Publish Prompt to save it into the library.
Tips
- Use the description for a one-line explanation, not another copy of the full prompt.
- The model field is useful for reference and filtering, even if you run the prompt somewhere else.
- If you are not sure how to name or categorize the prompt yet, use AI Fill Metadata before publishing.
Common use cases
- Saving an internal writing prompt with consistent formatting expectations.
- Building a coding prompt with a sample JSON or code response.
- Storing a client-ready prompt with clear tags and a clean summary.
