What this feature does​

Profile settings let you manage your account identity, password, and subscription status. This is where you keep the workspace secure and decide when to upgrade.

Why it is useful​

Account details are not just administrative. They affect sign-in, workspace ownership, password safety, and whether you can keep scaling the library without hitting plan limits.

How to use it​

  1. Open the account menu and choose Profile settings.
  2. Update your name, username, or email address in the Identity section, then save the changes.
  3. Use the Security section to change your password. PrompX asks for your current password before saving a new one.
  4. If you are on Free and need unlimited prompts or version history, use Upgrade to Pro.
  5. If you are already on Pro, use Manage billing to open the Stripe billing portal.
  6. If you cannot sign in at all, use Forgot password from the sign-in screen to request a reset link.

Tips​

  • PrompX checks username availability before you save, which helps avoid collisions.
  • Upgrade when the prompt library becomes real infrastructure, not just an experiment.
  • Use yearly billing if you already know the workspace is part of your regular process.
